OH NO! Your Crystal Broke! Now What?!

OH NO! Your Crystal Broke! Now What?!

When a crystal breaks, it can be a frustrating and disappointing experience. However, just because a crystal has broken doesn't mean that it is no longer useful or beautiful. In fact, there are many things that you can do with a broken crystal, and these broken pieces can still hold a lot of value and meaning.

One thing that you can do with a broken crystal is to use the pieces to create jewelry or other decorative items. Crystal beads or pendants can be made by drilling a hole through the crystal and attaching it to a necklace or earrings. You can also use the broken pieces to create a mosaic or other decorative piece of art.

Another option is to use the broken crystal as part of a crystal grid. A crystal grid is a arrangement of crystals that is believed to amplify the energy of the crystals and create a specific intention or result. You can use the broken crystal pieces along with other crystals to create a crystal grid for healing, manifestation, or any other intention that you choose.

It is important to note that before using a broken crystal in any of these ways, it is recommended to cleanse the crystal first. Crystals can absorb energy, and it is important to clear any negative or stagnant energy that the crystal may have picked up. There are many different ways to cleanse a crystal, such as burying it in the earth, placing it in salt water, or using the smoke of sage or palo santo to clear the crystal's energy.

If you are not interested in using the broken crystal for decorative purposes, you can also consider disposing of it in a respectful way. One option is to bury the crystal in the earth, as this is believed to release the crystal's energy back into the earth. You could also place the crystal in a body of water, such as a river or ocean, as a way of releasing its energy.

In conclusion, a broken crystal does not have to be discarded or seen as useless. There are many creative and meaningful ways that you can use a broken crystal, such as creating jewelry or using it in a crystal grid. It is important to remember to cleanse the crystal before using it, to clear any negative energy that it may have picked up. Alternatively, you can also release the crystal's energy back into the earth or water in a respectful way. Regardless of what you choose to do with a broken crystal, it can still hold value and meaning in your life.

This is a great blog post. A lot of people assume a crystal isn’t energetically helpful if it’s broken, chipped, etc and I always remind them no piece is perfect. Especially considering they come from the earth unpolished, untreated before they even make it to someone’s homes or altars. Each crystal is perfect as it is, and can be used in many different ways!
